HIGHWAY COMMISSIONER
MARQUETTE COUNTY
Marquette
County, WI is looking for a new county Highway Commissioner. This position is
under the general direction of the County Highway Committee and the County
Board. This position directs all County highway operations related to
construction, repairs, snow removal and overall maintenance of safe driving
conditions.
Duties include
but not limited to; direct highway personnel in the construction, repair and
maintenance of County highways; administer the County highway budget including
preparation of audit reports in order to maintain operations at or under budget;
prepare and submit quotes to County and township boards for proposed road
projects and manage all highway equipment including purchases, repairs,
maintenance and parts inventory.
Marquette
County desires the successful applicant to have a Bachelors degree in Business
Administration or Civil Engineering, and/or at least five years experience
supervising road maintenance, construction and snow removal operations and
equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required
knowledge, skills and abilities.
The salary
range for this position will be $52,518 to $66,841 plus benefits. Submit
