Elder Benefit Specialist-An EBS is a person trained to help older persons who are having a problem with their private or government benefits. They help figure out what benefits a person is entitled to and tell them what they must do to receive them.They serve people ages 60 and over.Services are free of charge. Marquette County's EBS is Colleen Sengbusch. She can be reached at 608.297.3101 

Homebound Meals--$3.25 donation-Call 608.297.3146 to get started with Homebound meals. Home delivered meals are provided to people who meet eligibility requirements and are 60 or older.  A referral from a doctor, hospital discharge planner, Social Worker, Health Care Professional or family member is preferred.  Click on the image below for the menu

There are six meal sites that serve lunch in Marquette County.  There are no income guidelines for participating in this program.  The only requirement is that you have to call the day before by 3:00 p.m. to reserve your place at a table. You need to call the Aging Unit Office at 608-297-3146. There is a $3.00 suggested donation for all seniors over 60 or their spouses.

Transportation for those without Medical Assistance-Call 608.297.3104

The Marquette County Elderly and Disabled Transportation program exists to serve the elderly and /or disabled residents of Marquette County who have not other means of transportation to medical appointments and other necessary destinations.There is a copay for this service. All copays will be collected at the time of pick up.

Wisconsin Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
 
As the state of Wisconsin’s non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) manager, MTM, Inc. arranges transportation for eligible Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus members throughout the state to their covered preventative and life-sustaining medical appointments. Our goal is to work with Wisconsin stakeholders to ensure a transparent, collaborative relationship while coordinating an innovative, quality-driven transportation program for members, medical facilities, and transportation providers

Alzheimer Family Caregiver Support Program 

Marquette County may also have funds available to help families who have a member that has been diagnosed with. Contact the ADRC at 1.877.883.5378 for more information. 

National Family Caregiver Support Program

The National Family Caregiver Support Program is a national program administered through the Wisconsin Aging Units. Contact the ADRC at 1.877.883.5378

Disability Benefit Specialist-DBS help answer questions and solve problems related to Social Security, Medicare, health insurance, and other public and private benefits for people with disabilities.  
They serve people ages 18-59 who have a disability.Services are free and confidential. Appointments are made through the ADRC---1.877.883.5378 or 608.297.3124
