Conservation Engineering Technician 

The Marquette County, Land & Water Conservation Department is looking for a Conservation Engineering Technician.  This is a full-time, permanent position located in our Westfield WI Office.  This person in this position will provide technical support to the Marquette County Land & Water Conservation Department and provide professional assistance to property owners regarding soil and water conservation practices with emphasis in Engineering.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in natural resources, conservation, agriculture or a related field; or a two year technical college Associate’s degree in natural resources, conservation, agriculture or a related field.  Minimum three years of soil and water conservation experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

Salary range is from $41,961 - $56,771 based on experience and qualifications.  Marquette County also offers an attractive benefit package.

EMT Medic/Intermediate 

Marquette County EMS is looking for professional and self-motivated EMT- Intermediates and Paramedics for full-time employment. Marquette County EMS is continuing the process of transitioning from volunteer to a full-time service. Marquette County EMS responds to approximately 1600 emergency calls a year out of three stations providing ALS service to the county and two townships in Adams County. These new full-time positions will primarily be weekend shifts.  Successful applicants will undergo an interview process.

Qualifications: Current AHA ACLS, CPR and valid WI driver’s license. Current State of WI EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license with minimum of two years’ experience.

Starting pay is $13.05/hr with full benefits package working a 48hr work week.

Marquette County Highway Department

WINTER SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT:  Snow Plow Operator for seasonal positions with Marquette County Highway Department.   Requirements:  High School Diploma or equivalent + 2 yrs. experience/training with some type of snow plowing.  Requires valid WI Driver’s License with Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License, with air brake endorsement.   $14.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.   WINTER SEASON ONLY (November to April).

Senior Dining Site Manager 

Marquette County Department of Human Services has an opening for a part time senior dining site manager with the elderly nutrition program.  This position is responsible for managing multiple dining sites in Oxford, Packwaukee and Endeavor (approximately 20 hours per week). 

This position requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.  One to three months related experience or training preferred.  Successful completion and maintenance of State approved Sanitation Certification, first aid and CPR trainings are required.  The ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. is required.  Applicants will be required to pass background checks.
